Syrian Traditional Restaurant

I discovered this hidden gem in the neighborhood. I went there for just a normal takeout but left the place with such a great sense of affection towards this local business. The owners, Safy and Aseem are so welcoming and humble towards their customers. Safy is such a powerful personality with her smile, gestures and love for Syrian culture. Their prices are extremely affordable — the whole order was enough for 4 people, just for $40. I definitely recommend this place.

Such an amazing restaurant, you can feel home, or warmer. Safy and her husband are wonderful people. I definitely go back again for their hospitality and their non compatible dishes. Even the labneh tasted different.

The owners were very warm and hospitable. They gave me samples of the dishes I didn't know about for tasting. The food was delicious and it felt like I was visiting family. They have good options for vegetarians too. I'd highly recommend this place.

Safy falafel is 12/10! The food is delicious (as if you're in their home) and the staff is incredible. This is our go to spot for our family. We couldn't ask for better service and more love on a plate. Highly recommend if you're looking for an incredible meal and a smile.

Absolute little gem of a restaurant. We stumbled in during our afternoon stroll and intended to just grab something quick to go but the new owners were so lovely and personable so we decided to sit and eat. Some of the best hummus I have tasted in Montreal, great fatteh and falafel. Looking forward to coming back.

Safy Falafel is an extremely kind and wonderful place. The sandwiches are awesome and the family that runs the place is even better. Eager to go back.

Probably the best sandwich ever, they make their bread fresh! Also their falafel was awesome. Been there twice, have already tried 4 different things. Going again next week to try more 🤤 The owner was so nice they gave us a complementary dish. 😄

The food is super delicious. But i need to mention that everyone out there made us feel so comfortable as if we knew them from a long time. Very friendly and warm. We ordered: Falafel, Hummus, French fries for kids, Pizza (Veg), Chicken sandwich. I must say the chicken sandwich was the STAR dish. Do try it. I will be going again soon 😊😊.
